Stephen Newman from Boise, Idaho was sentenced to 15 years in prison yesterday after being convicted for attempting to rape a woman. He put up an ad on Craigslist for a free iPod(/rape) last year to bait a woman to meet him at a park at night. 28 year old Gretchan Hellar was that smart gal who responded to this sweet deal and actually agreed to meet him in the park after dark at a porta potty.

Luckily though, she finally alerted police when she noticed a vehicle in the park. Meaning she really went there still believing she was going to get a free iPod from this guy. I'm guessing the vehicle was an old white van because if I was going to connect rape with a vehicle, it would be a old white van.

Police ended up finding a knife, bb gun, gloves, stocking cap and a couple other items to tie her up in the rape van with... but no iPod. What the fuck. Now I'm not condoning rape, but if he was gonna do it, at least give her an iPod.

Truthfully, she should have learned a little more of a lesson. I mean more of a almost raped kinda thing like he jumps out of the van and says, "bitch, you gonna get raped!" Then the police come and save the day.

I don't watch many shows on TV, but once in awhile I'll turn on a show and see one of the things I can't stand- when someone who is totally down on their luck finally gets a new house or something nice and who they thank? Jesus. Well if you're gonna thank him for that, why not be pissed of at him for screwing things up for you in the first place? Because like I stated before, Jesus is an abusive boyfriend. That new house is him saying "hey baby, I know I beat you down in life until now but I still love you, here's a little something to make up for it," until he hits you again.
